our story
Founded by Geert van Praet (Belgium) and
registered in Indonesia in 2008 under the name Yayasan Cahaya Impian Masa Depan (dream of a better future) expresses exactly our intentions. Together with Luh Ayu Susila Dewi and Suanda they started to send children to school in Amed (east Bali) and Lovina (north Bali). A community program (English, Balinese dance, etc) was organized in these projects for 250 children. Monthly medical check-up of more than 300 children between 0-3 years resulted in support for 18 children with malnutrition. In 2009 followed by our reorientation and integration program for disabled children and adults. Today, we have a full equipped physical therapy center and a day care center for disabled children. |
